‘Decadence’ at The Rep, Birmingham

25 Oct

This week half of our Year 6 children have been performing at The Rep, Birmingham.

In order to celebrate 100 years of  The Rep, 10 schools and drama groups created their own performance: each based on a different decade. Our children developed a piece based on the 1940s. After a huge amount of hard work the schools came together to perform ‘Decadence.’

100 years, 100 years, 100 wonderful years…

Staff, parents and peers loved the show and were incredibly proud of the children. Credit also goes to the Film Group, who created the work that featured in the film that was screened in the background.

Well done Year 6!

Don’t forget to leave a comment describing the experience, as well as share your favourite decade from the show.

The REP was so cool! I loved the 90’s performance, it was very funny. I also enjoyed the present day (00-10) performance, it was very spooky.
